Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrive – Hanoi – Cyclo Tour

On arrival at Hanoi airport and after clearing immigration and baggage claim, meet your local representative / Tour manager in the arrival hall and proceed to your hotel. (Check-in time is 15:00hrs). Late afternoon has an overall view of the capital by a “cyclo” visit, which will start around the Old Quarter of Hanoi, and stop at Ngoc Son Temple located on the Hoan Kiem Lake (the “Sword” Lake).

Note: If your arrival time is late, then a cyclo tour won’t be provided.

Day 2 : Hanoi City Tour

Today visits to Ho Chi Minh Complex, inclusive of Ba Dinh Square, Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum. The wooden ethnic minority-style house is surrounded by lovely peaceful gardens. In the same complex, you will see the One Pillar Pagoda. Our next stop will be Tran Quoc Pagoda, this is the most ancient pagoda in Hanoi with a history line of more than 1,500 years. This afternoon, we visit the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university, and visit the Museum of Ethnology, widely considered to be the finest modern museum in Vietnam.

Day 3 : Hanoi – Ninh Binh – Hanoi

A 90km drive south of Hanoi will lead us to Ninh Binh, the site of one capital city of ancient Vietnam before Hanoi. The area is featured by lots of well-known sceneries, which include Tam Coc Caves and Hoa Lu ancient capital with the old temples dedicated to King Dinh & King Le. Take a boat trip to Tam Coc where spectacular limestone karsts jut out from the green paddy fields reminding us about Halong Bay. Later drive from Tam Coc to Hoa Lu through tranquil villages to enjoy the daily life of people in Ninh Binh until reaching the shady temples with many dedicated kinds of wood relieves of King Dinh and King Le.

Day 4 : Hanoi – Halong Bay

Journey east through picturesque rice-farming villages to Halong Bay, a Natural World Heritage as designated by UNESCO in 1994 and 2006. On arrival, transfer to our overnight cruise. Enjoy lunch with Vietnamese dishes served while cruising through the bay, passing the most beautiful and quiet areas, such as Incense Burner, Dog Stone Islet, Fighting Cock, Soi Sim beach, and Coconut Three Island. We visit Luon cave, the perfect combination of lime-stone mountains and jade-green sea by bamboo boat with local people. Continue to visit the beautiful Ti Top beach – famous for its fresh atmosphere, clean water, and smooth white sand. Dinner will be served with Deluxe Vietnamese and International BBQ Set Menu.

Day 5 : Halong – Hanoi – Fly to Saigon

Today transfer by tender to visit Sung Sot Cave. Walk up about 100 steps to the cave entrance, the biggest cave in Halong bay with beautiful stalactites and stalagmites. Return to the boat by tender. We disembark the cruise around 11h 30 and transfer back to Hanoi (no accommodation). Enjoy leisure time until transfer to the airport for the flight to Saigon.

Day 6 : Saigon City Tour

Proceed on a city tour to see classic European-style landmarks such as the ornate City Hall (Hotel De Ville), and the old Opera House (both may only be viewed from the outside), and pay a quick visit to the neo-romanesque Notredame Cathedral and the Central Post Office. Continue to see the Reunification Palace & the War Remnants Museum. Later visit the Mariamman Hindu Temple dedicated to the goddess of the Rain ‘Mariamman’. Afternoon, head out to Cholon (Chinatown), which makes Saigon different from other cities in Vietnam. Beginning with a brief visit to Binh Tay Market. Continue to Thien Hau Pagoda and end the tour at the central Ben Thanh Market, where vendors display a vast array of goods and handicrafts, appealing to every taste.

Day 7 : Saigon – Mekong Delta – Saigon

On this day we head to My Tho, the homeland of coconut and family factories with local products like coconut candy, rice paper, etc. Upon arrival, embark on the boat cruising on the mighty Mekong River viewing the life of the local people living along the banks. Embark on the small boats rowed the local people thru the small canals with water coconut trees to visit the local factories. There you will taste the honey tea and see the local people produce the coconut candy milk and of course, you also can try it or stroll in the garden where the locals feed honeybees. This afternoon, we take a rowing boat along water palm creek before we return to Saigon, with a stop to visit the beautiful Vinh Trang pagoda on the way.

Day 8 : Saigon – Cu Chi Tunnels – Saigon – Fly to Siem Reap

After finishing breakfast and checking out of the hotel, we transfer to visit the Cu Chi tunnels – the network of over 200km of tunnels became legendary when they played a vital role in the War. In their heyday, the tunnels were functioning underground cities including numerous trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers & kitchens. After a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed, you will have a chance to crawl into a short section of the tunnels to feel the oppressive narrowness and heat inside. Later transfer to the airport for your flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel.

Day 9 : Siem Reap – Full Day Angkor Tour

On day nine after breakfast, we explore the South Gate of Angkor Thom known as Big Angkor, a walled and moated royal city, and was the last capital of the Angkorian Empire. The famous Bayon Temple was an architectural muddle, in part because it was constructed in a somewhat piecemeal fashion for over a century. Terrace of the Elephants 300-meter-long terrace wall adorned with carved elephants and gradual that spans the heart of Angkor Thom in front of Baphuon – a huge temple mountain in the heart of Angkor Thom, Royal Palace Area, and Phimeanakas – an impressive rite and sandstone pyramid.

Last visit to Ta Prohm temple which is a wonderful combination of human genius and natural beauty. This afternoon we visit Angkor Wat temple, Cambodia’s ancient temple is one of the wonders of the oriental world. It is a replica of the universe according to Hindu mythology. Finally, we visit Pre Rup – which was built in the 10th Century by Rajendravarman and enjoy the sunset there.

Day 10 : Siem Reap City Tour – Floating Village

After breakfast, we visit Wat Thmei (Killing Field) contains a unique glass-walled stupa containing the bones of victims of the Khmer Rouge. Continue to visit the “Les Artisans d’Angkor – Chantiers Ecole” the Finest Authentic Khmer Arts and Crafts. Afternoon, we visit Floating Villages, located 10 kilometers south of Siem Reap. Take a ride in a traditional wooden boat on the Tonle Sap, the “Great Lake” of Cambodia and the largest in Asia. Then visit Wat Bo, a highly respected pagoda founded in the 18th century, containing very unique wall paintings of the Reamker (Ramayana) that are said to be from the late 19th century. We continue to one of the city’s lively open markets, Psar Chars also called the “Old Market”, where anything and everything is for sale.

Day 11 : Departure Siem Reap

Snacking, checking, and transferring to the airport for your return flight home – (check-out time 11:00 hrs). Depending on your return flight timing, you will be transferred to the airport. (Mode of transport could be either coach or mini van along with other passengers from the group. Please note – late check out is not guaranteed and is advisable to opt for a morning flight.

Note: On occasions, due to large events, traffic, logistics, and availability of reservations, it may be necessary to change the above itinerary. However, all aspects of the itinerary will be covered.
