Itinerary
Day 1 : Arrival Bangalore
On arrival at Bangalore airport/railway station, transfer to hotel. Check in at the hotel and get ready for the Bangalore city tour visiting Tipu’s Palace, Ulsoor Lake, Lal Bagh, Nandi or Bull Temple, Cubbon Park, and Vidhana Soudha followed by a visit to museums and art galleries. Afterward, we will return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2 : Bangalore – Mysore (141 Kms / 03-04 Hrs)
After early breakfast, drive towards Mysore. En-route visit Ranganathaswamy Temple, Srirangapatnam- the capital of Tipu Sultan and Channapatna Toys Center. On arrival, check in to the hotel & overnight stay at Mysore
Day 3 : Mysore Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed for the sightseeing of Mysore Palace, an architectural marvel, Krishnarajasagar Dam and Brindavan Gardens. Overnight stay at Mysore
Day 4 : Mysore - Ooty (147 Kms / 04-05 Hrs)
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and straight drive to the land where green mountains, as well as azure sky, roll down to embrace quivering beds of crimson roses.
Day 5 : Ooty Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed for a full day sightseeing of Ooty. The major attractions of Ooty include the Botanical Garden, a stylish garden bordering a huge variety of flowering bushes, flowers, plants, fern house with a huge range of ferns and orchids, and a clear pool are a few of the tourist attractions. Ooty Lake has an uneven L-shaped and extends for more than 2 km in length.
Then visit Dodabetta Peak which is situated at an altitude of 2623 meters above sea level and it is the highest point of Nilgiris hills. Later, visit Coonoor (according to time permitted).
Enjoy the world-famous toy train ride from Udagamandalam to Coonoor Mountain Railway, rather than any other mode of transport. The experience is really out of this world. The Nilgiri Mountain Railway is the only mountain railway that operates on a daily basis in South India. The train runs one-to-and-fro journeys every day and the frequency increases during peak summer, to accommodate the heavy inflow of tourists.
Subject to the availability of train tickets visit Coonoor for sightseeing, the place surrounded by tea plantations. The tourist attractions of Coonoor include Pasteur Institute established in 1907. Sim’s Park is the place where individual tree specimens are planted all over the place, providing an extraordinary attraction to the park. Lamb’s Rock is 8 km from Coonoor and on the way to Dolphin’s Nose. It offers a striking view of the Coimbatore Plains. Laws Fall is an amazing picnic spot and heaven for Nature lovers, located at Coonoor-Mettupalayam Road. The height of Law Falls is about 180 feet.
Later, back to the hotel and overnight stay at Ooty.
Day 6 : Ooty-Bangalore (280 Kms / 07-08 Hrs Drive)
After breakfast, check out from the hotel & straight drive to Bangalore Airport to board the scheduled flight for the onward journey.
