The Great Stupa at Sanchi is the oldest stone structure in India and was originally commissioned by the emperor Ashoka the Great in the 3rd century BCE. Its nucleus was a simple hemispherical brick structure built over the relics of the Buddha. It was crowned by the chakra, a parasol-like structure symbolizing high rank, which was intended to honor and shelter the relics. Early morning, packed Breakfast drive to Panna National park with an open jeep safari. Panna National Park is a very popular wildlife reserve. Located in the central Indian province of Madhya Pradesh, this national park is at a distance of almost 57 km from Khajuraho. Among the better known tiger reserves in India, Panna National Park is one of them. The park is famous for its big cats like the tigers and the leopards. Tourists who visit Khajuraho, make it a point to get to the Panna National Park to see the majestic cats in the wild.
