Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrive in Beijing For China Tour

On arrival at Beijing Airport for China Tour, meet your local representative/ tour manager and proceed to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure. (Check-in time is after 15:00 hrs). In the evening enjoy an Indian dinner. Note: Transfers to the hotel are available all day, the mode of transportation could be either a coach/ minivan along with other passengers from the group. If your flight arrives after 16:30 hrs local time, then dinner will not be provided.

Day 2 : Beijing

Today we visit Tiananmen Square which is known to be one of the largest public squares in the world, bordered by the Qianmen Gate, the Great Hall of the People, and the Theatre of Heavenly Peace. Later visit the Forbidden City to see the courtyards, palaces, and pavilions. In the afternoon, continue to Lama Temple, which combines styles of Manchurian, Chinese, Tibetan, and Mongolian architecture. Everywhere you turn, expansive details and bold patterns can be found to tease and tantalize the senses. This evening enjoys a wonderful acrobatic show which promises to dazzle and entertain.

Day 3 : Beijing

In the morning visit the Jade Factory for shopping before departing for a tour of the Great Wall of China. This 6,400-kilometre-long wall is a symbol of China’s ancient civilization and ranks among the greatest ancient monuments in history. After lunch, we visit the Temple of Heaven. Evening visit the Yashow Market also known as the “Yaxiu Market”.

Day 4 : Beijing – Xi’an

Morning checks out. Proceed on a short city tour to visit some of the modern sights that Beijing has to offer; view the iconic Olympic buildings, take photos with the National Aquatics Centre (Water Cube), and the National Stadium, known as the Bird’s Nest. After lunch proceeds to Xi’an via a super-fast train. Late evening arrival in Xi’an. After dinner check in to your hotel.

Day 5 : Xi’an

Today enjoy a full day tour of the Terracotta Warriors – the tomb of the First Emperor of China and a UNESCO site. See more than 6000 molded soldiers, officers, horses, and wagons of this famed legendary army which were buried together with the Emperor 2,200 years ago and discovered only in 1974. Afternoon visit the Wild Goose Pagoda which is a Buddhist pagoda, built in 652 AD by the Tang Dynasty. Also, visit Bell Tower Square which is in the heart of this bustling city.

Day 6 : Xi’an – Shanghai – China Tour

After breakfast drive to the airport for your flight to Shanghai. Late afternoon we visit the TV Tower, which was completed on October 1, 1994. The TV Tower has a height of 468 meters, which multi-functions as a sightseeing attraction, dining opportunities, shopping, amusement, and accommodations. This tower has become the symbol of the city and a popular tourist attraction in Shanghai.

Day 7 : Shanghai

This morning, visit the famous Buddhism shrine, Jade Buddha Temple, located in the bustling city of Shanghai. It is named for its two bejeweled white jade Buddha. Carved from a whole piece of white jade, the sitting jade Buddha statue is translucent with a solemn expression, displaying the excellent skill and extraordinary art of the Chinese people. Later, visit the Yuyuan Garden which has many scenic courtyards decorated with baroque rockery, pools, and flora that are all connected by corridors and passageways. Finally, experience the super-fast Maglev Train ride. Evening free for leisure activities.

Day 8 : Shanghai – Flight Out/ Continue onto Hong Kong or Japan

After breakfast, check out and transfer to the airport for your return flight home. Check-out time is 11:00 hrs. Depending on your return flight timing, you will be transferred to the airport, the mode of transportation could be either coach/ minivan along with your other passengers from the group. Please note that late check-out is not guaranteed and it is advisable to opt for an early morning flight.

Note: On occasions, due to large events, traffic, and availability of reservations, it may be necessary to change the above itinerary. However, all aspects of the itinerary will be covered.
