Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrive in Auckland – Rotorua

On arrival at Auckland airport, after immigration and baggage claim, meet your Tour Manager / Local Representative at the meeting point in the arrival hall at 1500 hrs (New Zealand Local Time). Board your coach and transfer to Rotorua. Late afternoon arrival in Rotorua. Evening at leisure.

Day 2 : Rotorua – Agrodome – Te Puia – Rotorua

This morning enjoy more of Rotorua sight seeing. We first visit the Agrodome Farm – a Unique New Zealand Farm Experience! Here see our world-famous Farm Show starring a cast of talented animals. You also have an opportunity to see Valais black-nose sheep in New Zealand. Later visit Te Puia / Whakarewarewa Geothermal Valley, the centre of Maori art & culture and home to the world-famous Pohutu Geyser. Come face to face with Pohutu Geyser, jumping mud-pools, and live kiwi birds; watch master carvers and weavers at work, and hear stories passed down from their ancestors. Evening enjoys the famous Maori Show.

Day 3 : Rotorua – Waitomo Glow Worm Cave – Auckland

Proceed for Waitomo. Here you will visit the spectacular Glow worm caves. The Glow-worm is unique to New Zealand, thousands of these tiny creatures radiate their unmistakable luminescent light on the cave. Enjoy the famous boat ride (subject to operation) under thousands of magical glowworms and become part of over 120 years of cultural and natural history. As you enter this galaxy of tiny living lights, you’ll immediately experience a serene ambience and be fascinated and intrigued by tiny glowworms that light your way. Later continue your journey to Auckland. On arrival proceed on an orientation tour of Auckland to see some of the main sites of the city.

Day 4 : Auckland – Queenstown

Today, transfer to the airport to board the flight for Queenstown. On arrival drive to Arrow Town. Here experience the ultimate Jet Boating experience with – the unique, breathtaking white water ride and adrenaline rush you’ll never forget. Later experience the Skyline Gondola ride to Bob Peak which gives an amazing view of the city.

Day 5 : Queenstown – Milford Sound – Queenstown

Milford Sound is simply stunning. In Maori legend, the fiords were created not by rivers of ice, but by Tu Te Raki Whanoa, a godly figure who came wielding a magical adze and uttering incantations. In the foreground stands Mitre Peak, a majestic presence dominating the skyline. The Milford Road is one of the finest alpine drives in the world. The scenery is exceptional, ranging from broad grassy flats, dense rainforests, and towering mountains to glacial lakes and alpine herb fields. Upon arrival at Milford Sound board your vessel to enjoy a scenic Cruise the length of Milford Sound.

Day 6 : Queenstown – Wanaka – Mt. Cook National Park

Check out and proceed toward Mt. Cook National Park. En route, we make a stop at the beautiful Lake Wanaka. Located in the stunning alps of the South Island, the Lake Wanaka region is one of the most outstanding natural beauty in New Zealand. Late afternoon arrives at your hotel. Here you can either take an optional excursion to Glacier Lake – a pleasant trip to the Tasman Valley, followed by a 25-minute alpine walk through the National Park. Then board your MAC boat, and enjoy the ever-changing face of the Tasman Glacier lake and its icebergs or take a rugged back road 4WD adventure accessing awe-inspiring views over the Tasman Glacier and its gigantic moraine wall. Stop at several vantage points to view some of the most spectacular photographic opportunities within the Aoraki / Mt Cook National Park.

Note: Excursions to Glacier Lake / Tasman Valley are subject to operation and can be covered on day 07.

Day 7 : Mt. Cook National Park – Christchurch

Morning at leisure to explore the beautiful surroundings on your own. Check out and drive to Christchurch. On the way, see the beautiful Lake Pukaki – the largest of three roughly parallel alpine lakes of the Mackenzie Basin and Lake Tekapo. After arrival in Christchurch, proceed on a short orientation tour of the city.

Day 8 : Christchurch – Melbourne – Philip Island

Early morning check out and proceed to the airport to board your flight to Melbourne. On arrival, we proceed on a city tour to see some of the most important sites the city has to offer. See the Collins Street, Town Hall, Treasury House, Old Parliament House, Fitzroy Garden, Federation Square, Flinders Street Station, Arts Precinct, Shrine of Remembrance etc. After lunch drive to Phillip Island to visit the Penguin Reserve, witness the Penguin parade as they arrive at sunset and waddle across the beach to their sand dune burrows.

Day 9 : Melbourne – Great Ocean Road – Melbourne

After breakfast, we shall proceed for a full-day excursion to the Great Ocean Road- spanning 243 kilometres along the stunning coastline of Victoria’s southwest. Take in the panoramic views as the road winds along cliff tops, up to breath-taking headlands, and down onto the edge of beaches. Enjoy splendid views of the towering 12 Apostles & the Loch Ard Gorge. Evening return to Melbourne.

Day 10 : Melbourne – Cairns

Check out and transfer to Melbourne airport for the flight to Cairns. Cairns is considered the gateway to Australia’s Great Barrier Reef. On arrival, transfer to Kuranda – a World Heritage Rainforest. Travel by the Kuranda Sky Rail, for the ultimate tropical rainforest experience. Enjoy free time at the Kuranda village to explore the surroundings or purchase local souvenirs and handicrafts. Later board your coach and drive to Cairns.

Day 11 : Cairns – Great Barrier Reef – Cairns

Today we proceed to the Great Barrier Reef. One of Australia’s most remarkable natural gifts, the Great Barrier Reef is blessed with the breathtaking beauty of the world’s largest coral reef. The reef contains an abundance of marine life and comprises over 3000 individual reef systems and coral cays and literally hundreds of picturesque tropical islands with some of the world’s most beautiful sun-soaked, golden beaches. On arrival, we experience a great view of the reef through the glass bottom boat and explore the world of corals. Evening we return to Cairns.

Day 12 : Cairns – Sydney

After breakfast proceeds to the airport to board your flight to Sydney. On arrival, we visit the Sydney Tower for a breathtaking 360- degree view of the city. Sydney Tower is Sydney’s tallest structure and the second tallest observation tower in the Southern Hemisphere. The name Sydney Tower has become common in daily usage, however, the tower has been known as the Sydney Tower Eye, AMP Tower, Centrepoint Tower or just Centrepoint. After dinner check in to your hotel.

Day 13 : Sydney

This morning after breakfast, proceed on a city tour. First, visit the iconic Opera House from the inside. The Opera House is one of the most distinctive and famous 20th-century buildings, and one of the most famous performing arts venues in the world. Then continue your tour to see the Harbour Bridge, the famous Bondi Beach, Darling Harbour and other important sights of the city. Later enjoy the Sydney Showboat Dinner Cruise along with Dance Show and get an amazing view of the Sydney Harbour and Sydney’s amazing skyline.

Day 14 : Departure Sydney

After breakfast check out and proceed to the airport for your return flight back home.

Group departure pick-up time from the hotel will be at 0800 hrs (am).
